I'm Stéphane—a design generalist, curious about how people think, connect, and feel when navigating the digital and physical world.
I came to UX and service design through a winding path: starting in technical writing, exploring graphic design, and eventually diving into new technology like AI. My work is informed by human-centered principles, cognitive sciences, and trauma-informed design. I believe digital experiences should not only be accessible but also considerate of how different minds process information, emotions, and interactions.
OPEN FOR WORK
Playfully exploring, connecting the dots and building bridges, since 1982.
I’m actively engaged in communities like All Tech Is Human, Unicorns in Tech and Creative Mornings, where I explore the intersection of responsible technology, design thinking, and creation.
I am currently a mentee of the All Tech Is Human Mentorship program, connecting with mentors, researchers and other mentees about trauma-informed design, AI bias, and inclusivity.
WRITING
Recently, I launched a blog where I explore how AI is transforming human interaction: not just in how we communicate, but in how we think, create, perceive ourselves, and navigate the world. Drawing from design and psychology, I examine how emerging technologies redefine our sense of identity in an increasingly digital landscape.
In my free time
Connection is at the heart of what I do, whether I’m designing or singing in a choir (The Indie Pop Choir Berlin), where I get to experience firsthand the power of harmony and active listening. I also occasionally teach French.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me visiting arts exhibition, bouldering, roller skating, upcycling furniture, wandering in nature, or tending to my ever-growing plant collection.
Are you interested in human-centered design, ethical tech, or accessibility as well? Or maybe you just want to swap book recommendations?
